Reeds Jewelers Tender Voices Pendant Review and Contest - Celebrating National Pet Owners Day!

I am feel so blessed to be partnering with Reeds Jewelers on their ASPCA Tender Voices campaign.

Today is National Pet Owners Day!

As a former pet owner and pet lover I feel so strongly about the plight of the ASPCA and other animal shelters who are trying desperately to foster and adopt out the animals that have been surrendered to them. These precious animals are being euthanized at an alarming rate due to the number of surrenders year after year. Regardless of the circumstances for these animals being surrendered to the ASPCA and local shelters it is still a desperate situation for many shelters who are running out of time and funds to keep these animals alive.  They need your help desperately.

Reeds Jewelers has teamed up with the ASPCA and designed a line of precious pet inspired jewelry to support the cause.

The kind folks at Reeds sent me this beautiful Tender Voices two-tone diamond heart paw pendant for my review.  I have to tell you I was blown away when it arrived.  The photo does not do this pendant justice, you must see it in person to appreciate how absolutely lovely this piece truly is.  This sterling silver heart pendant features round diamond accents and a 10kt yellow gold paw. Pendant is 20mm in length and 17.5mm in width. An 18 inch sterling silver chain is included.

Reeds Jeweler stores can be found in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Click here (http://stores.reeds.comto access the store locator to find out exact locations in your area.

  1. I have rescued countless kittens and cats in the last 8 years. I have done a TNR (trap-neuter-release) of over 35 cats. I have 5 rescue cats of my own. I am a huge animal lover and will go to any length to help save them. I would absolutely love to win this giveaway - this would be such a cherished piece of jewelry for me.

  3. I should win because I would give this special necklace to my sister, Lori Zuclich,. She is the biggest lover of pets and is a member of the ASPCA. This is a gift I know would truly touch her and she would wear it all the time. She has two rescue cats and their names are Fred and Ginger. They are the most loveable tabbies you will ever meet :) She treats them as if they were her children and they love her back so much :)

  8. I should win because I grew up as a dog lover and continue to be in my adult life. My husband did not grow up with animals and has conformed to my life style since we got married. We currently have a peek-a-poo, dachshund, German Shepard/Husky mix (rescue), and we take care of my mothers 14 year old Pug and my brothers Husky who is preparing to leave with the military. We have a full house, but our dogs are just as much our babies as our daughter. We have invested a lot in our pets, training, food, and helping out friends. We are both loyal pet owners and are looking into fostering pets for local shelters now that we are established. I would love such a beautiful necklace. I have a great passion for jewelry, but we can not afford nice jewelry because our money is better spent in other places. It would be nice to get a beautiful piece of jewelry.

  27. I would want to win this as a great gift for my Mom. She got us all started on catch neuter release. And shelters. As a result keeps a LOT of cats!!! She asks for nothing, and doesn't have money to buy anything for herself. Because her fixed retirement income pretty much all goes to food and vets. We now feed all of the outdoor kitties. So, now I only somewhat have an appreciation for all she does. I think she has earned a gift.

They just want love just like the other breeds. I stand strong against BSL and hope one day there will be no such thing. I also really love the necklace too :)

  38. Ever since I was a child up til today as a parent of 2 special needs kids. We always have rescued animals from shelters that were due to be put down, My dad was in the moving buisness and he has saved animals that owners were just going to leave behind to roam free because where they were moving too they couldn't have pets. I remember a doberman pincher we named Czar was abused by the owner he used to hit it with a garden hose! My dad brought Czar home and with kindness he turned out to be one of the best pets we ever had! Now my girls have a Golden Retriever named Shira and she is so good, she doesn't bark, bite or Jump on people ,, she just gets really silly and spins around when we have company over :) I would love to share this necklace with my two daughters Emily-bean and Holly-bear :) I hope to high heavens I win it :)

  45. I think it is Wonderful of Reed's to do this. Every catastrophic event leaves people hurting but animals abandoned. Needless to say that means there is a lot of poor animals, scared and in the state of shock.....Hat's off to Reed;s!
